Students have the flexibility to watch pre-recorded lectures and presentations, stream video content, access virtual libraries and participate in virtual group activities and discussions anytime. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to articulate basic tax laws and most importantly, identify and articulate appropriate tax strategies based upon a variety of client situations and scenarios. Candidates should have a demonstrated understanding of academic and applied trends that are driving best practice in the field. Columbia University SPS operates under a scholar-practitioner faculty model, which enables students to learn from faculty that have outstanding academic training as well as a record of accomplishment as practitioners in an applied industry setting.

Busso, F. Scaltriti, P. Persi, M. Ferrari-Toniolo, L. Selected samples of the data are compared to the colour sequences for normal stars compiled by Cohen et al.

In both cases, some but not all of the sources show evidence of an IR excess, pointing out that RS CVn variables do not behave in a unique way at IR wavelengths.

The flux densities have been compared to those expected from combinations of normal stellar spectra in the range F—K. This detailed analysis shows that an IR excess is definitely present in CF Tuc, while the spectral distributions of the other three sources can be accounted for, within the accuracy of the data, by combinations of normal stellar components.

Since the excess, when present, is not correlated with the activity level nor with the evolutionary status, it is concluded that its origin still calls for a clear explanation, perhaps in terms of mass-loss phenomena near the Main Sequence.
